I’m spoiled: I have a February birthday, so my “year” “starts” on February 5th. I claim my word of the year. I apply discernment to all that’s been bubbling up. I commit to what feels juiciest and that which makes my heart sing!
January - with all it’s energy of “new year, new me” can be fun, but waiting?
Waiting til the holidays are packed up and put away?
Waiting til we’ve rested through the dark of winter, until we’re on the edge of Spring?
Waiting til after Imbolc – the holiday that celebrates the noticeable increase in light?
Waiting feels ever so much better.
Committing in February feels potent and juicy, and calls on the energy of the crocus. (You think crocus is a sweet lil flower. It is! AND it’s a powerhouse that pushes through the cold earth to herald the season of growth that’s about to come!!)

Bring your journal – we’ll do a bit of exploring our intentions, hopes, and dreams. Then we will LITERALLY step into the 2026 of our hopes, of our dreams, of our intentions.
(And I do mean literally so you’ll need a sheet of paper, or cardstock – or go big and get yourself some poster board of a big ol’ cardboard box piece…)
Why?
Because the one thing we want to be absolutely sure that we bring into 2026 is our full, embodied selves. All of ourselves: the good and the not so good, the blessed and the bloody, the loving & laughing and the rage & pain, the hopes and the hurts…
